Graphics created in this way can be used as professional backgrounds for video meetings or as a modern, shareable form of a digital business card. This solution combines branding with practicality, as users not only present themselves in a way that aligns with the company’s visual identity but also provide quick access to their contact profile.

The second important change is the addition of the new variable ${QRdigitalCard}, which allows you to embed a QR code leading to a public Digital Business Card directly in your email signature. When this variable is used in a signature template, the system renders a clickable QR code image that the recipient can scan to access the employee’s business card. From this business card, you can view contact details, download a vCard, and save the contact to Google Wallet or Apple Wallet.

This extension significantly enhances the functionality of the email signature. The signature is no longer just a block of static contact information but becomes an interactive gateway to the employee’s full profile. Additionally, a new field for defining the QR code width has been added to the signature editing settings, allowing administrators to precisely adjust its size to the signature design and maintain full control over the appearance of the final e-mail signature.

The update also included integration with Google Server-Side. We have updated the configuration instructions to support more precise message delivery to specific email addresses. This gives administrators greater control over which users receive signature installation notifications and welcome messages. This is particularly useful for organizations that want to roll out changes in phases or direct communication only to selected groups of employees.

On the Microsoft 365 side, we have added comprehensive, step-by-step configuration instructions for the Microsoft Server-Side integration in the Integration Settings panel. This is a significant enhancement to the documentation and implementation process, as the server-side mode allows for the automatic installation and updating of signatures for all Microsoft 365 users without requiring manual action on the employee’s part.

In practice, this means that signatures are applied directly at the mail server level and remain consistent regardless of the device or email client the user uses to send messages. This approach increases administrative control, simplifies deployment, and eliminates the issue of employees manually setting up signatures. For organizations using Microsoft 365, this is an important step toward fully centralized email signature management.

The entire update enhances gSignature in several highly practical areas. On one hand, it gives users new ways to showcase their personal and corporate brands by generating backgrounds and QR codes for digital business cards. On the other hand, it empowers administrators, who gain greater control over communication in Google Workspace and improved deployment support in the Microsoft 365 environment.

The result is a more modern and functional platform that combines aesthetics, automation, and centralized signature management with the growing role of digital business cards in everyday business communication.
