One of the most significant new features is the ability to filter the employee list by Google Workspace organizational units and branches—that is, departments or divisions. Administrators can now select the appropriate unit or branch from a dropdown menu, and the system automatically narrows the employee view to matching records. This makes it much easier to work with specific segments of the organization without having to manually search the entire user database.

After applying a filter, an active chip appears below the search bar indicating the selected criterion. This is a small but very practical change, as you can immediately see which filter is currently in use. Each active filter can be removed individually, or you can clear all of them at once along with other active filters, such as group, signature status, or search phrase. This makes the filtering mechanism more flexible and intuitive, especially in organizations where the employee list spans multiple departments, structures, and synchronization sources.

A significant improvement also concerns profile photos in the My Account section. We have fixed an issue where the profile photo was not displayed correctly on the user’s account page. At the same time, we have expanded the functionality of the forms to allow the removal of avatars synchronized with Google Workspace. From now on, a user or administrator can delete a profile photo directly from the My Account page or in the Employee Edit window by clicking the delete button next to the avatar.

This change provides greater flexibility in managing the appearance of signatures. Even if a profile photo is set in Google Workspace, an employee can choose not to use it in gSignature and use a signature without an image. The change takes effect after saving the form, allowing you to maintain full control over how the user is presented in signatures and other system views.

Another new feature is the expansion of the signature installation page to include the ability to filter and install signatures by branch. Administrators can now select a specific department or branch and immediately see which employees belong to the selected organizational unit. This significantly simplifies the implementation of signatures in companies that operate in multiple locations or have a complex team structure.

Access to branch management has been appropriately secured and requires Super Admin, Group Manager, or Company Manager permissions. This model helps maintain the chain of command and allows tasks to be delegated to the appropriate administrative level without granting access to individuals who should not manage the branch structure.

An important change has also been introduced in the employee list, specifically in the column showing the data source. Instead of plain text labels, we have introduced visual icons that allow you to quickly identify the origin of each employee’s data. Users synced with Google are marked with the Google logo, employees from Microsoft 365 have the Microsoft logo, records from Calamari are displayed with the Calamari icon, locally created employees have the user icon, and email aliases are marked with a separate alias icon.

This enhancement significantly improves the readability of the list and speeds up the administrator’s work. Instead of analyzing the text in each cell, you can recognize at a glance where a specific user’s data comes from. With a larger number of employees and multiple synchronization sources, this change significantly improves the usability of the dashboard.

The entire update strengthens gSignature in the areas of employee management and organizational structure. Better filtering, improved avatar support, signature installation by branch, and clearer data source labels allow administrators to perform daily operations faster and navigate the system more easily. This is another step toward a more organized, intuitive, and scalable platform for managing email signatures.
