Each signature has its own name, so that at a later stage you can, for example, filter after it the signatures in the "Employees " tab. We paste the selected e-mail signature into the editor or import a design from the free template library.
When we paste our own pattern, we can do it immediately in graphic form or in HTML by switching the editor beforehand with the </> button in the right part of the toolbar, to HTML editing mode. We recommend creating email signatures based on HTML tables.
Why?
Consistency across multiple email clients : HTML tables ensure consistent signature display across email platforms, including Gmail, Outlook, Apple Mail and others.
Ease of editing : Editing HTML tables is simple and intuitive, even for those without coding experience.Customization : HTML tables offer more flexibility in terms of signature layout and formatting, allowing you to create a unique and professional look
Important: 10,000 characters is the maximum number of characters of html code you can send through the Gmail API. E-mail signatures with more characters - are not transmitted and can not be installed.
While editing, we also have the option to include add-ons by selecting them from the list: Link, Banner, Additional Banner and Legal Disclaimer - these elements are separately manageable in the "Extensions " tab https://app.gsignature.com/addons
At the bottom when editing the template, you will see 3 columns with dynamic variables.
When we want to save changes to the template we use the "Save" button and when we want to save and immediately install (reinstall the existing signature) to employees who already have it we click "Save and install".
