New installation process for new accounts in gSignature – quick start for email signatures
December 22, 2025
The new installation process answers one of the most frequently asked questions during implementation: how to set up a professional email signature quickly and without unnecessary technical configuration. This makes gSignature even better at creating email signatures, which works well for both small teams and large organizations.
How the new installation process works
During the initial configuration of the administrative account, the system automatically displays a new installation window. The administrator immediately sees two clearly described paths for launching email signatures, along with recommendations on when to use them.
The first option is individual installation. The administrator can install the email signature locally on their account using a Chrome extension, which is also fully compatible with Microsoft Edge. This solution is ideal for testing, piloting, or implementation in smaller teams. The entire process takes just a few clicks and does not require any intervention on the part of other users. It is a quick way to check how the email signature generator works and how a professional email signature looks in everyday correspondence.
The second option is installation for the entire organization. It is designed for companies using cloud solutions and enables central implementation of email signatures across the entire domain. The administrator can choose one of two methods.
The first is Google Workspace Marketplace App, which allows you to automatically add a Gmail e-mail signature across your organization without users having to manually set up e-mail signatures. This is the recommended path for companies working in Google Workspace that want to have a consistent e-mail signature in all mailboxes.
The second method is the Microsoft 365 / Exchange Outlook Add-in, which allows signatures to be implemented in Outlook, Exchange Online, and the Outlook desktop application. This provides organizations using Microsoft 365 with a consistent signature management mechanism, regardless of whether employees use Outlook in a browser or on a computer.
Installation wizard tailored to your IT infrastructure
The new installation wizard guides the administrator step by step. Each method is described in a simple way, with information on when it is best to choose it and what its applications are. This allows even those who are implementing an email signature generator for the first time to quickly decide how to set up e-mail signatures in their organization.
The installation process is now more transparent and error-resistant. Administrators no longer have to wonder where to start or which path to choose. gSignature suggests the best solution depending on whether the company uses Gmail, Google Workspace, Outlook, or Microsoft 365.
Where to find the new feature
The new installation process starts automatically when you first set up your admin account. You can return to it at any time from Settings → Installation, making it easy to reimplement or change the installation method in the future.
This update is another step towards full automation and intuitiveness when working with gSignature. Regardless of the email environment you choose, creating an e-mail signature, installing it, and managing it further is quick, centralized, and does not require manually copying HTML code.
Which e-mail signature installation method would you choose for your organization: quick start via extension or immediate global implementation?
