New social media tab in onboarding

One of the key elements of the new onboarding is a dedicated social media selection tab. The administrator or new user can now choose from over 20 social media platforms to appear in their email signature.

The most important changes in this area:

  • social media selection takes place on a single, clear screen,
  • both popular platforms (LinkedIn, X, Facebook) and niche or industry-specific platforms are available,
  • and each change is immediately visible in the real-time signature preview.

This allows you to create a consistent email signature during the onboarding stage, in line with the brand's visual identity and communication style.

Automatic generation of contact icons

Onboarding has been enhanced with intelligent contact icon generation. Based on the data entered, the system automatically adds the appropriate elements to the signature, such as:

  • phone icon,
  • email icon,
  • website icon.

In addition, we have introduced full support for international phone numbers:

  • the ability to select a country,
  • automatic prefix addition,
  • correct number format in the signature.

This is particularly important for globally operating companies that create professional email signatures for teams working in different countries.

Better collection of user data at the start

The new onboarding also streamlines the collection of basic user data at the registration stage. The process has been simplified and organized so that the following can be obtained without any additional steps:

  • first name,
  • last name,
  • profile photo.

Thanks to this, the email signature generator has complete data to create a personalized signature from the very beginning, without the need for subsequent corrections or manual completion of information.

Simplified interface and consistent branding

To make onboarding even more transparent:

  • we have hidden additional banner sections that are not essential at this stage,
  • we have implemented a permanent disclaimer, which ensures legal and visual consistency from the very first signature,
  • we have reduced the number of decisions that the user has to make during the initial configuration.

The result is a cleaner interface, less risk of errors, and a faster transition from registration to a working automatic e-mail signature.

What this onboarding means in practice

Thanks to the new process:

  • the first HTML e-mail signature is created faster and in a more controlled manner,
  • the signature is immediately consistent with the company's branding,
  • contact details and social media are complete and correctly formatted,
  • users don't need to know how to create an e-mail signature – the system guides them step by step.

The new onboarding is another step towards making gSignature the most intuitive email signature creation software, regardless of whether your company uses Gmail, Outlook, Google Workspace, or Microsoft 365.
