Uploading your own signatures to Gmail via CSV
July 1, 2025
How does the new feature work?
The new option allows you to upload a local CSV file with Gmail usernames and their assigned signatures. It's a simple solution that automates the process of configuring email signatures in large teams.
Step by step:
- Download and edit the sample CSV file
- We have prepared a ready-made CSV file template that you can easily customize to suit your needs:
- Download the sample CSV file
- Install the gSignature Chrome extension
- The plugin is required to automatically upload signatures to Gmail accounts.
- Download the extension from the Chrome Web Store
- Remove manually added signatures from Gmail
- To avoid conflicts, make sure that all signatures previously created directly in Gmail have been deleted.
- Upload the CSV file to gSignature
- In the signature import section, upload the prepared CSV file. Recipients will be automatically assigned to the appropriate email signatures.
- Enjoy full automation
- Signatures will be instantly installed in users' Gmail accounts – no manual intervention required.
Improved server-side performance
Along with the new feature, we have also optimized signature processing in server-side mode. Improvements include:
- faster signature installation and synchronization,
- better control over implementation status,
- more stable operation even in larger organizations.

The new settings can be found in the Server-side Settings tab – a full view is available on the attached screen in the admin panel.
Uploading email signatures from a CSV file is another step towards fully automating communication management in your organization. By combining a Chrome extension, a simple CSV file, and server-side optimization, gSignature allows you to implement professional and consistent email signatures in minutes – without the need for coding or manual action on the part of users.
