Pricing 2.0, New Roles, and Even Better Synchronization in gSignature
April 30, 2026
Pricing 2.0 brings more accurate billing and clearer subscription management
One of the most important parts of this release is the introduction of Pricing 2.0, together with new limitations for the Basic plan. These changes were designed to improve billing precision and simplify subscription management for administrators.
We improved payment method handling and refined the logic behind plan updates with proportional billing. This means subscription changes now reflect real usage more accurately, making upgrades and plan adjustments easier to understand and manage. We also added support for the VAT exempt option, which gives more flexibility to organizations that need different tax handling during billing.
Another useful addition is the new retry payment action. When a payment fails, administrators can now retry it without unnecessary complications. This improves the overall payment experience and reduces friction in situations where a subscription would otherwise require more manual intervention.
Together, these updates make billing more transparent, more reliable, and better aligned with the needs of growing organizations.
Synchronization with Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and Calamari is now more reliable
A major part of this update is focused on synchronization with external systems. gSignature now handles synchronization with Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and Calamari in a more stable and predictable way.
We increased the reliability of data updates and introduced the ability to synchronize a single user. This makes troubleshooting much easier, especially in larger environments where administrators do not always want to trigger a full organization wide sync just to fix one account or verify one change.
We also improved error reporting and upgraded queue processing. In practice, this means faster detection of problems, easier diagnosis of failed sync operations, and better control over the way data moves between connected systems. For administrators, that translates directly into fewer blind spots and a more manageable flow of updates across the organization.
These changes matter because synchronization is one of the key foundations of professional email signature management. If employee data, departments, locations, and external systems stay aligned, the whole platform becomes more dependable.
A redesigned onboarding experience makes setup faster and easier
This release also brings an important redesign of the onboarding process. We rebuilt onboarding to make it more modern and intuitive for both administrators and end users.
The new experience includes social media integration, real time previews, and a simplified user data collection flow. Thanks to these improvements, the process of setting up email signatures and configuring user profiles becomes faster and easier to understand. Users can now see how their final signature will look while they are still entering their information, which makes the process more engaging and reduces confusion.
This is an especially valuable improvement for organizations onboarding many employees at once. A more intuitive onboarding flow means less support overhead for administrators and a smoother experience for every user joining the platform.
Better absence handling, improved installation stability, and stronger overall performance
Beyond billing and synchronization, the update includes several technical and workflow improvements that make everyday work in gSignature more efficient.
We improved absence handling and stabilized the email signature installation process. These changes reduce friction in daily administration and help ensure that signature deployment works more consistently across teams.
At the same time, we increased the performance of the backend, frontend, and AI systems. These technical improvements strengthen the responsiveness and reliability of the entire application, especially in larger environments where performance and stability have a direct impact on administrator productivity.
This is the kind of work users may not always see immediately, but they feel it in the speed, consistency, and predictability of the platform.
The new Branch module supports multi location organizations
Another key addition in this update is the new Branch module. It was created for organizations managing multiple locations and needing separate templates or location specific data for different branches.
This module makes it easier to reflect real organizational structure inside the platform. Instead of forcing one shared configuration across all units, companies can now better support branch specific use cases while still maintaining centralized control.
For businesses operating across several offices or regions, this creates a much more flexible and scalable environment for managing email signatures.
Expanded variable support and work address integration improve data quality
We also expanded variable support and added integration with the work address field. This improves the quality and completeness of data that can be used in signatures and templates.
In addition, we introduced automatic refresh of organization data, which helps keep employee information and configuration more current without requiring unnecessary manual updates. These improvements are especially important in dynamic organizations where employee data changes frequently and needs to remain accurate across all signatures.
This combination of broader variable support, work address integration, and automatic data refresh strengthens the overall consistency of the platform and reduces the risk of outdated or incomplete signature data.
Partner is now Group Manager
An important part of this release is the cleanup and modernization of the role system.
The existing Partner role has now been replaced with Group Manager. Internally, the system now uses the GROUP_MANAGER role instead of the outdated PARTNER role. All existing partner roles were migrated automatically.
This change improves the semantics of the permission model and makes access management more understandable, especially in environments that include multiple domains. The new naming better reflects the actual responsibility of users managing groups or domain structures, and it brings more consistency to the entire authorization system.
A new Reseller role has been added
Alongside the role migration, we also introduced a completely new Reseller role.
The RESELLER role was added to the permission system as a separate access level for users responsible for domain sales and multi client management. It includes the appropriate permission controls and access to reseller related features connected with customer domain management and licensing.
This is an important step for organizations and partners operating across multiple clients or domains. It gives reseller focused users a clearer and more structured role inside the platform, instead of forcing those workflows into a permission model that was not designed specifically for them.
The old partners tab has been removed
As part of the broader cleanup, we also removed the unused /partners tab.
Along with it, we cleared old routes and components connected with the previous partner logic. Once the migration to Group Manager was completed, those older elements were no longer necessary.
This change does more than simplify the interface. It also reduces outdated code, improves application consistency, and makes the overall structure of the system easier to maintain going forward.
A stronger foundation for a more scalable platform
This update is another step toward a more scalable, stable, and predictable platform for email signature management. On one side, it strengthens technical foundations such as billing, synchronization, and queue processing. On the other, it expands business critical functionality through reseller roles, the Branch module, and a better onboarding experience.
That balance is important. A mature platform needs both technical reliability and operational flexibility. With Pricing 2.0, improved synchronization, new role architecture, and stronger support for multi location organizations, gSignature continues to move in that direction.
For administrators, this means more control and less friction. For growing organizations, it means a platform that is better prepared to support real complexity without sacrificing stability or usability.
The latest gSignature update brings meaningful progress across nearly every important area of the platform. Pricing 2.0 improves billing logic and subscription handling. Synchronization with Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and Calamari is now more dependable. Onboarding is faster and more intuitive. The new Branch module adds flexibility for multi location companies. The updated role model introduces clearer access management through Group Manager and the new Reseller role. At the same time, the removal of outdated partner logic helps simplify and modernize the platform as a whole.
